Adrian is running for the House after the legislature pushed through an unconstitutional “red flag” gun bill, SB-5, which removes due process rights and infringes upon the constitutional right to bear arms.
A long-time gun owner and Second Amendment advocate himself, Adrian strongly believes in the right to self-protection through the lawful ownership of firearms. He believes this goes hand-in-hand with public safety and keeping communities safe.
As a husband and father of his three children, Emma Jean, five, Adrian Jr., two, and his unborn baby girl, Sophia, Adrian and his wife, Mariah, strongly believe in the sanctity of life from conception to natural death. As a legislator, Trujillo will stand strong against radical abortion and euthanasia legislation that either demeans or devalues the gift of life for people of all ages.
Adrian believes that safe, life-affirming communities should also have access to quality education, with school choice, so parents can choose the best educational experiences for their children—be that in a traditional public school or charter school. Allowing New Mexico families access to quality education and honoring the hard-working educators are staples of Adrian's campaign.
Mariah homeschools Emma Jean and will homeschool Adrian Jr. and Sophia when they are of the proper age for school. Adrian is a member of the Catholic faith, and a Knight of Columbus, attending church at St. Therese Catholic Church.
Adrian is a working man, working with his hands as a skilled union worker. As an apprentice, former personal trainer, and father, Adrian knows the value of a hard day’s work and is ready to bring true representation back to the hard-working people of District 11.
